George and Rosina Harter have been named the Livingston County Library Friends of the Library Volunteers of the Year

Two Livingston County residents, George and Rosina Harter have been named the Livingston County Library Friends of the Library Volunteers of the Year, recognizing their outstanding dedication and years of volunteer service. As longtime members, the Harters have contributed to numerous library events and initiatives that promote literacy, community engagement, and access to educational resources.

To honor their contributions, the library will feature a photo tribute of the couple, and a book of their choosing will be added to the Teen collection with a commemorative bookplate bearing their name.

Friends of the Library President, Dr. Amy Dickerson, called the recognition “well deserved,” praising the Harters for their generosity, enthusiasm, and behind-the-scenes support.
