Overnight roadwork begins next week in Buchanan County

Overnight roadwork is set to begin next week in Buchanan County, as the Missouri Department of Transportation partners with Vance Brothers, Inc. on a scrub seal project affecting several major routes.

According to MoDOT, work will take place during the overnight hours, with crews reducing traffic to a single lane and flaggers guiding vehicles through the construction zones.

The tentative schedule begins Monday with work on U-S Route 169 from Interstate 29 to Route FF.

The following weeks will include Missouri Route 169 and east and west bound Highway 36. Works should be completed by May 28th.


All work is weather-permitting and subject to change.
