Bridge work has closed roadways throughout the region this summer

The Missouri Department of Transportation is starting on a number of bridge projects along Highway 35 in the Gallatin and Bethany areas. Starting today the bridge at Route 6 in Davies County is closed through August. Drivers will be directed to detour off the interstate to avoid the closure.

Interstate 35 will be closed in both directions from June 10th to the 13th for night work: those closures run from 7 PM to 6 AM. A detour will be in place for drivers trying to use the thoroughfare at night. When work in Davies County is complete, Mo-DOT will move north along Interstate 35 to Harrison County for a bridge replacement project in September.

Bridge work has closed roadways throughout the region this summer. US Route 59 is closed north of Mound City, and Route NN is closed northwest of Maryville both for bridge replacements. Route B and T south of Mound City are also seeing closures for bridge updates. Find all impacted routes and plan your trip at Traveler.Mo-DOT.org.
