Overnight road closures along South Main Street in Maryville

Next week motorists coming and going from Maryville on Highway 71 should expect overnight road closures along South Main Street. The closure is related to the City's South Main Improvement Project. City Manager Ryan Heiland adressed the closure at this week's council meeting.

Crews are working to put storm sewer cross-pipes under the road. Closures begin Monday and will continue through the week until work is complete. It is part of the much larger South Main Improvement Project, a 7 million dollar update to the main thorough connecting Maryville to points south. The work entails lane expansions, intersection and pedestiran walkway improvements, and beautificaiton efforts.
