Severe weather is moving through Northern Missouri and Eastern Kansas

Severe weather is moving through the listening region today.

The National Weather Service has issued a Storm Warning and Flood Watch for much of Northern Missouri and Eastern Kansas, including Nodaway County. There is a chance of severe weather lasting through Sunday, but the main impacts are expected throughout the day today.

Between Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning flooding is possible along waterways with over an inch of rain accumulations expected. Residents of low-lying areas should stay up-to-date with the latest forecasts.
