The City of Maryville and Downtown Maryville are embarking on a tourism marketing campaign

Downtown Maryville, MO

The City of Maryville, in partnership with Downtown Maryville, is embarking on a tourism marketing campaign. The State Division of Tourism granted the city 30 thousand dollars for a marketing effort which will target audiences outside the region - anywhere farther than 50 miles away. The City of Maryville approved a 70 thousand dollar contract with ad agency Madden Media to complete the work. While the grant pays for roughly half, the remaining poriton will be paid by the City.

The campaign will advertise the entire region, not just Maryville itself. Spekaing at this weeks Council meeting, Director of Tourism for the City DeAnne Davison says the campaign will be online.

The city has worked with Madden before, including campaigns focused on Mozingo Lake.
