The Missouri Department of Conservation will host it's "Big Muddy Alternative Methods Catfish Clinic"

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be hosting its “Big Muddy Alternative Methods Catfish Clinic” in Blue Springs this coming weekend, June 14th and 15th. 

The workshop is aimed at teaching participants alternative ways to can catch catfish. MDC Staff will lead an Orientation Session on Saturday Morning focusing on different set-lines to trap Blue, Channel and Flathead catfish, before taking participants out on the Missouri River to set different trotlines, jug lines and limb lines, all for catfish capture. Participants should bring water and snacks.

The clinic is free but Registration is required. Interested participants must be able to attend both days. You can register at MDC's website at MDC.MO.Gov/Events
