Three Maryville businesses are semi-finalists for the Premier Partner Award by Missouri Main Street Connection

Three Maryville businesses are semi-finalists for the Premier Partner Award by Missouri Main Street Connection. The statewide award recognizes partnerships that support the revitalization and sustainability of Missouri's downtown districts. Mosaic Medical Center, Maryvlle, Maryville Florists, and Stephanie Campbell Yount of Blue Willow Boutique are all semi-finalists for the award. Community Relations Manager at Mosaic, Maryille, Kelsi Meyer says the health care system's nomination for the award illustrates Mosaic's work to demonstrate the role health care institutions can play outside of the hospital.

Meyer says, "I think this upcoming year will be the third year that we will have the Turkey trot, which happens on Thanksgiving morning. And, we just try to be a really big presence through community relations. We have a community health nurse liaison that's out in the community providing education overall through healthy initiatives. That seemed to be like an easy jump in place for us where we were sort of the premier sponsor for the Turkey trot."

Final award recipients will be announced when the Missouri's Premier Downtown Revitalization organization meets July 24 in St. Charles, Missouri.
