Branson, Missouri - an Ozarks resort town in the state's southwest - is looking at a small solution to a big problem. An organization hopes to adress the region's housing crisis with tiny homes. Elevate Branson, a local non-profit, is looking to build a five-acre neighborhood of tiny homes, which will make it one of the largest tiny home settlements in the country. Project leader Bryan Stallings says the homes will be set up to meet resident needs.

Rent will be set at 400 dollars a month, including utilities. Many residents of Branson are in sub-standard housing, such as motels. The region is short over 2,000 units according to housing studies. Stallings envisions the neighborhood becoming its own tiny community.
