Hot and Humid Conditions Today

Heat Advisory

Heat is back in the forecasty today, with hot and humid conditions expected today through Saturday.

Today, Friday is expected to be the hottest day with heat indices near 105 degrees possible throughout Northwest Missouri. A heat advisory has been issued by the national weather service.

There is a potential of strong thunderstorms developing both today and tomorrow, which add uncertainty to the forecast. Fast developing storms could break the heat event, but also bring flooding or high wind.

There is an increasing chance of for thunderstorms starting Saturday into early next week.
