Meeting on Route VV bridge replacement is open to the public

The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting an informal public meeting about the Route VV bridge replacement project. The event will open house style, letting members come and go as they please.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, August 7th, at Jefferson High School in Conception Junction. Those who are interested in knowing more about the project can drop in anytime from 5PM to 7PM to speak with the MODOT officials.

This meeting will allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns about the plans for the bridge project and  provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through the comment form, on those concerns. MoDOT engineers will also be available to answer questions regarding other planned Statewide Transportation Improvement Program projects and maintenance work in the area.

If you are unable to attend the open house, two other opportunities for public comment are available through Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025.

  1. View the project website at Route VV Bridge Replacement in Nodaway County | Missouri Department of Transportation. While there, sign up to receive updates about this project via email and/or leave comments.
