Bearcat golf earns first ever bid to Central Regional

Northwest Missouri State golf is marching into the postseason.

The Bearcats are one of 18 teams to receive a bid to the NCAA Central Regional. This is the first time in program history that Northwest will send the whole squad to the region tournament.

Paige Hoffman competed at the regional individually each of the last 2 years, including a third place finish that sent her onto the NCAA Division 2 National Championships in 2023. Hoffman is ranked 20th in the region and spearheads the Bearcat attack.

Fellow senior Madilyne Schlaepfer is ranked 33rd in the region, and has two top 10 finishes and a tournament win this season.

The region tournament will be played at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, OK May 5-7.
