The Kelce brothers are now co-owners of a professional football team.
Jason and Travis Kelce announced on Twitter through their company's official account, Garage Beer, that they purchased the St. Joseph Goats.
The Goats, entering their second season as a football team in the Arena League that plays at the Civic Arena in downtown St. Joe, were previously owned by former Kansas City Chief running back Christian Okoye, George Gates and Steven St. John.
Garage Beer hinted on social media that an acquisition was in the works on Wednesday, before making the official announcement Thursday.
Jason Kelce retired after the 2023 NFL season after playing 13 years with the Philadelphia Eagles, while younger brother Travis Kelce is entering his 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The St. Joseph Goats football season is scheduled to begin this Saturday against the Ozarks Lunkers in Springfield.
