Nursing Program and Black History Month Events

During the first half of the program President John Jasinski speaks with Dr. Dean Nuttall, president of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri regarding the R.N. to B.S.N. program shared with Northwest. Leslie Chandler, coordinator of student orientation and transfer affairs and Kat Folke of Northwest join the discussion. During the second segment Dr. Jasinski is joined by Steve Bryant, director of intercultural affairs, Edward Gibson IV, intercultural affairs coordinator and Tatiana Johnson, a junior at Northwest who is majoring in psychology and sociology to discuss the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week that kicks off on Jan. 20 with the annual Peace March to the Nodaway County Courthouse. Events scheduled for Black History and African American Achievement Month in February are also highlighted.
