The founder and president of The Harbor Institue, Rasheed Ali Cromwell, was welcomed to the Northwest Missouri State University campus Tuesday for the university's spring Ploghoft Diversity Lecture.

Cromwell's lecture "I Never Saw It Like That" used legal and academic experiences to frame cultural context and its relevancy in today's classroom. He also led an afternoon workshop for Northwest education majors where he emphasized cultural competency as students travel into professional education.
