May 3, 2018Morning Conversation
After building a successful career in banking and real estate investment, Northwest Missouri State University alum Steve Holle shifted his focus to a new path that's become a true passion -- brewing beer. He is the focus of today's Morning Conversation.
Holle studied German and International Marketing during his time on campus at Northwest. He also reached into his German heritage as he studied abroad in Hamburg, Germany during his junior year. That experience also cultivated his early interest into German beer.
That interest stuck with him as he became an avid home brewer, and after retiring as the regional director of the Northwestern Mutual Life Real Estate Office in Dallas, the Kansas City Bier Company began to take shape.
The Kansas City Bier Company opened in 2014, and brews a variety of German-style biers which are now available throughout the region. Along with their bier selection, the Kansas City Bier Company also features a bierhalle, biergarten and brewery tours. More information on the Kansas City Bier Company is available here.
