Northwest Missouri State University will celebrate International Education Week next week on the Northwest campus. An international student from Curaçao, Talitha Santana-Baez, is a fulltime student and says there are several benefits to being an international student in Maryville. Lina Gadonas comes to the Northwest campus from Finland as an exchange student and says being part of the Study Abroad program is making difference in her life.
Several activities have been planned next week in honor of International Education Week at Northwest. A lecture at the Charles Johnson Theater on Monday at seven o'clock, International Student Speed Meet Tuesday at seven o'clock in the J-W Jones Student Union Living Room and an Around the World Showcase Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the ballroom of the Student Union.
