She's coming from one of the biggest cities in America to dazzle folks in Nebraska. Chicago's top female jazz vocalist, Tammy McCann, will be performing at the Brownville Concert Hall as a part of the Christmas Gala they've got going on this weekend. McCann says she'll be bringing a couple of friends along to spread some holiday cheer.
"I'm bringing the amazing pianist to the Stars, Mr. John Weber, who's been featured several times in Brownville, as well as a Chicago phenom Mr. Paul Marinaro. He's new to the Brownville Concert Series. And it's just going to be one evening to remember."
McCann also talked about her transition from Classical music to Jazz.
McCann says she’s excited to be performing at Brownville again and that it feels like home. The audiences are so receptive. She says that Brownville is like stepping back in time. There’s something always going on in Brownville artistically.
She'll be performing Merry Christmas Baby and says to expect Christmas merriment.
Vocalist Tammy McCann and friends will be performing at the Christmas Gala in Brownville on December 6 & 7 at 7:30 p.m. and December 8 at 2:00p.m. Sunday's show is already sold out.
