Conservationist Nate Carr
KXCV-KRNW News Director Jeremy Werner talks to Conservationist Nate Carr about the upcoming hunting seasons.
The first season is the bird season. On November 1st, quail and pheasant season begin. Only 8 quail roosters and 2 pheasant roosters are allowed.
Deer season is coming up. Archery has already been happening.
Gun season is November 14-24. Hunters are reminded to read regulations and wear orange hats and vests. They are encouraged to call in violations at 816-261-1245.
Carr discusses all the upcoming seasons and how many permits are allowed this year.
CWD was also discussed. The Missouri Department of Conservation has taken precautions to limit and manage the spread of CWD.
