The KXCV-KRNW Bearcat Coaches Show resumed on Wednesday night at Carson's Sports Grille in downtown Maryville. The first show of 2018 included guests from indoor track & field, baseball and tennis. Northwest "White Out" t-shirts were also given to members of the audience as part of a drawing during the show, courtesy of The Student Body. The "White Out" theme will carry into the Bearcats' next home basketball game on January 27 against Missouri Western.

The Bearcat baseball team is less than three weeks away from the season-opener. Northwest head coach Darin Loe and senior pitcher Joseph Hietpas appeared on the show to discuss the upcoming season, and the chance to build off of the success of 2017.

Northwest Track and Field only has five weeks remaining before the MIAA Indoor Championships arrive. Head coach Scott Lorek, junior Audrey Wichmann and sophomore Jordan Hammond joined the show to talk about a busy indoor season, and continuing to improve throughout the winter.

The tennis season is just over a month away for head coach Mark Rosewell and the Bearcats. Rosewell hopped on with John Coffey to discuss the spring season, as well as an eventful off-season for the veteran coach.

More "White Out" t-shirts from The Student Body will be given away at the next Coaches Show at Carson's Sports Grille on January 25 at 6pm.
