Northwest Missouri State embraces an unofficial holiday around the campus in Maryville as Homecoming arrives. The busy weekend includes Walkout Day, the International Flag-Raising Ceremony, the ribbon cutting for the Michael L. Faust Center for Alumni & Friends, a Bearcat volleyball match and more all on Friday. Followed by the Homecoming Parade, a Bearcat football game and Bearcat volleyball match on Saturday.
All of the festivities began Thursday evening with the KXCV Bearcat Coaches Show from Carson's Sports Grille in downtown Maryville. Northwest soccer head coach Tracy Hoza and senior Jessica Spradley joined John Coffey to discuss the Bearcat soccer season, and the final road trip as the team ventures to Emporia State and Washburn this weekend.
Bearcat football will be in action against Lindenwood for the Homecoming game. Head coach Rich Wright and senior defensive lineman Caleb Mather spoke to John Coffey about the team's 7-0 start, playing at Bearcat Stadium, and what to expect out of Lindenwood.
