April 4, 2019Coaches Show
The final KXCV Bearcat Coaches Show of the year was held at Carson's Sports Grille Thursday evening to discuss the championship run for men's basketball, baseball's three-game sweep of Washburn, softball taking back-to-back doubleheaders from Lincoln and Lindenwood, and the special ceremony for tennis coach Mark Rosewell on Saturday.
Northwest baseball head coach Darin Loe joined the show fresh off a sweep during the team's first three-game set at home this Spring. The Bearcats now gear up for a home weekend against Fort Hays State.
Bearcat softball outscored Lincoln 30-2 in a doubleheader Monday, and followed it up with a sweep of Lindenwood Tuesday. Head coach Ryan Anderson spoke about the offensive explosion, and how that can carry over to a road trip this weekend.
Northwest men's basketball completed the first undefeated season in 10 years with a 64-58 win over Point Loma in the national championship game. Basketball Times Division 2 Player of the Year Joey Witthus joined the show to talk about a magical season.
Friday marks the dedication ceremony of the Mark Rosewell Tennis Complex on the Northwest campus. Rosewell sat down with John Coffey to discuss the honor and this weekend's matches.
