KXCV-KRNW's kicked off March Madness Thursday afternoon with the Northwest Basketball Tournament Special from the Quaff Bar & Grill in downtown Kansas City.
At the conclusion of the Bearcats win over Emporia State in the quarterfinal round of the MIAA Tournament, hosts Matt Tritten and Andy Peterson spoke with guests from the Northwest basketball family and around the national college basketball scene about the postseason tournaments, and who else Bearcat fans should be watching on a national scene.
Guests included former Northwest men's basketball player and current women's head coach Austin Meyer, Bob Machovsky with the Northwest Missouri State University Alumni Association, John McCarthy of Small College Basketball, and John Coffey and Matt Gaarder of the Bearcat Radio Network.
