The Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats improved seven to one on Saturday, December 11th as they defeated the Lincoln Blue Tigers at Jason Gymnasium 56 to 43. The Bearcats remain undefeated in MIAA play.
Northwest's defense locked in early and forced Lincoln to miss its first 10 field goal attempts of the game. The Bearcat offense produced five field goals in the opening 10 minutes to produce a 13-8 lead. Molly Hartnett tallied seven first-quarter points to lead the Bearcats.
Mallory McConkey led all scorers with 17 points. She was joined in double figures by Molly Hartnett (14 points) and Peyton Kelderman (10 points).
Northwest will return to action Monday at Central Missouri. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
