Northwest Missouri State used a 14-2 run in the second half to pull away from Bentley and advance to the NCAA National Semifinals with a 61-43 win Tuesday afternoon.

The Bearcats (32-5) shut down a high-powered offensive attack from the Falcons to just 19 points at halftime, and a season-low 43 for the game. It also marks the lowest offensive output in Elite Eight history since the shot clock era began.

Trevor Hudgins paced Northwest with 24 points in the win.

Diego Bernard posted his 13th career double-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds, five steals and four assists.

Northwest will face the winner of Nova Southeastern and Black Hills State at 3pm Thursday in Evansville, IN. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 2:30pm.
