The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team improved to 10-2 with a 61-51 victory over the Missouri Southern Lions Saturday, January 1st in Bearcat Arena.
Northwest shot a season-best 59.0% from the field (23-of-39). It is the second time this season that Northwest has shot 50% or better from the floor.
Senior Mallory McConkey scored a season-high 23 points as she was nearly perfect from the field and the free throw line. McConkey went 9-of-10 from the field and 4-of-5 at the line.
