Trevor Hudgins broke another Northwest Missouri State record Saturday afternoon en route to an 89-49 win over Central Missouri.

The Bearcats (19-2, 12-1 MIAA) led 39-21 at halftime, then followed it up with a 14-3 run to open the second half to extend their lead.

Hudgins scored 10 of his 19 points in the first three minutes of the second half.

The guard from Manhattan, KS hit 2,460 career points with his final bucket of the day, lifting him past Justin Pitts for the most in Bearcat history.

Wes Dreamer finished with 23 points for Northwest.

The Bearcats are back in action Tuesday evening at 6pm against Missouri Southern. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 5:30pm.
