Northwest Missouri State men's basketball caught fire from deep against Briar Cliff and didn't let up on the way to a 98-66 win Friday afternoon.
The Bearcats (6-1) won their fourth straight while putting on an offensive clinic hitting 73-percent of their shot attempts in the first half. Northwest went 14-18 from three-point range in the opening half.
The 'Cats finished with 22 three-point baskets to set a program record for a single-game.
Wes Dreamer led the charge with 10 three's on the way to a 32-point performance.
Trevor Hudgins went for 17 points, followed by Diego Bernard with 15. Luke Moustakas scored 13 points off the bench.
Northwest opens MIAA play Thursday, December 2 against Northeastern State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 7pm.
