The No. 1-ranked Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball team opened its home season in fine fashion with a 92-47 triumph over the Truman State University Bulldogs.

Northwest extended the nation's longest active winning streak to 16 in a row. Northwest is 5-0 this season. Truman State drops to 3-2 overall.
