The indoor track & field championships concluded over the weekend, while basketball enters into the postseason and softball opens the home slate at Northwest Missouri State.

Bearcat track & field posted the best men's team finish in 22 years at the national meet, while the women's squad recorded reached its highest spot in the final team standings ever. Head coach Brandon Masters and assistant coach Nikki Segrest join the show to discuss the conclusion of the winter season and the upcoming outdoor track & field season.

Northwest Missouri State softball picked up three wins in four games over the weekend as the MIAA season opened up. The Bearcats were led by stellar pitching, allowing just three earned runs over the weekend. Head coach Naomi Tellez and seniors Breck Dickey and Sophie Mayhugh highlight the strong start to conference and the upcoming home games this Saturday and Sunday.

Both Bearcat basketball teams punched their tickets to the NCAA Tournament, which opens at regional sites this upcoming weekend. Head women's coach Austin Meyer and men's guard Bennett Stirtz look ahead to the challenges awaiting the teams.
