Northwest basketball rolls into the MIAA Tournament, while indoor track & field prep for the national championship meet in Pittsburg, KS.

The Bearcat women's basketball team is the number two seed in this week's conference tournament, while the men's team heads to Kansas City as the number one seed in their bracket. Both teams look to head into next week's NCAA Tournament with momentum. Bearcat guards Molly Hartnett and Caely Kesten from the women's squad, and conference player of the year Wes Dreamer from the men's team join us on the show.

Ally Hammond is returing to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships for the third straight season. Hammond, a two-time All-American, will compete in the 60m and 60m hurdles. Hammond, along with coaches Brandon Masters and Nikki Segrest, are on the broadcast highlighting the growth from the Parkville, MO native and the leader she's grown into.

Bearcat softball saw the pitching take a step forward in Liberty last weekend, splitting four games with Wayne State and William Jewell. Northwest now shifts its attention to MIAA opponents Nebraska Kearney and Fort Hays State. Bearcat head coach Naomi Tellez, center fielder Lillie Filger and pitcher Hayden Simmons discuss the team's progress.

After a tough road trip through Pittsburg, Northwest baseball stays on the road for traditional MIAA power Central Missouri this weekend. The Bearcats and Mules will meet in a three-game series starting Friday afternoon. Northwest head coach Darin Loe, pitcher Quinn Mason and utility man Ryan Williams sit down with John Coffey to discuss the upcoming weekend.

Northwest tennis will be busy through Spring Break as the women's team gets set for six matches in six days, and the men will play four across the next six including a trip to Arkansas. Legendary head coach Mark Rosewell breaks down the early season success on today's program.
