Northwest Missouri State put up season-highs in points, field goal percentage and three-pointers in a 105-53 rout of Nebraska Kearney Thursday evening.
The Bearcats (16-4, 12-2 MIAA) went on a 24-5 run across nine minutes in the first half to break the game open. A 56-21 halftime lead ballooned to a 57-point advantage late in the second half before the Lopers scored the final five points of the game.
The 105 points is the most by Northwest in a game since a 2019 matchup against Pittsburg State. The Bearcats knocked down 18 three-pointers and shot 63.2-percent (36-57) for the game.
Mitch Mascari paced Northwest with 23 points. Wes Dreamer added 19 points. Luke Moustakas and Spencer Schomers had 14 points apiece. Daniel Abreu finished with 11.
Northwest is back home against Fort Hays State Saturday at 3:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 3pm.
