Northwest Missouri State women's basketball heads into the weekend game coming off back-to-back losses for the first time all year, with a score of 57 against the Bronchos' 71.

The Bearcats suffered a 14-point loss to Central Oklahoma Thursday and slid into a tie for 5th in the MIAA standings.The loss was just the 2nd at home this season for Northwest.

Bearcat head coach Austin Meyer says it's imperative that the team comes out with energy and ready to play Saturday against Newman.

Northwest is 5-0 all-time against Newman.
The Bearcats and Jets meet at 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
