Northwest Missouri State powered past Lincoln 61-49 Saturday afternoon in Jefferson City.
The Bearcats (15-4, 11-2 MIAA) trailed by one at halftime, but took the lead for good on a Daniel Abreu three-pointer with 15:57 remaining in the game.
The win marked the fourth time this season that Northwest hasn't allowed its opponent to reach the 50-point threshold. Lincoln shot just 28.6-percent from three-point range in the game.
Bennett Stirtz shot a perfect 13-13 at the free throw line and put up 21 points for the Bearcats.
Daniel Abreu scored a season-high 19 points.
Northwest returns home Thursday to face Nebraska Kearney. Game time is 7:30. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 is 7pm.
