Maryville High School boys basketball is off to a 7-0 start for the first time since the 2009-10 season. The Spoofhounds won their final game before entering the Christmas break Tuesday night. Maryville trailed by seven entering the fourth quarter, but allowed just seven points to the Eagles in the final eight minutes of the game en route to a 48-45 victory.

Spoofhound head coach Matt Stoecklein spoke with us about the victory over Grain Valley, the clutch fourth quarter performance by junior Lucas Vierthaler, and the upcoming schedule for the team. You can hear the interview at the link above.
