Northwest Missouri State indoor track & field hosted its first competition of 2025, while Bearcat basketball finally gets the opportunity to play at home once again. We hear from coaches and student-athletes from each squad on this week's Bearcat Coaches Show.

Multiple meet and school records were set over the weekend in the Coach Richard Alsup Open at the Hughes Fieldhouse. Senior Prince Griffin ran an indoor personal best in the 400 meters, while Moses Koroma set the school record in the indoor 60 meter hurdles. They joined head coach Brandon Masters to discuss the breakout performances.

Northwest women's basketball is set to face Washburn and Central Missouri at home after sweeping those two opponents on the road two weeks ago. Head coach Austin Meyer and redshirt freshman Kenzie Melcher look ahead to the matchups and the team-building through the season.

Bearcat men's basketball made a push against Nebraska Kearney and Fort Hays over the weekend that came up short, but freshman Marcus Glock continues to make his presence felt on the court. Glock and head coach Matt Keeley spoke with John Coffey about the team's strides.
