Northwest Missouri State suffered one of its toughest shooting nights of the conference schedule in a 61-44 road loss to Central Oklahoma.

The Bearcats (10-12, 3-9 MIAA) shot a season-low 11.8% (2-17) from three-point range as they lost for the fifth time in six games.

Northwest didn't back down from the home team, leading UCO 13-11 at the end of the first quarter. The Bronchos responded by scoring the first seven points of the second to take a lead they wouldn't let go.

Kelsey Fields posted her 14th career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Molly Hartnett added eight points and five rebounds.

Northwest Missouri State will finish up its road trip against Rogers State on Saturday at 1:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5/KRNW 88.9 begins at 1pm.
