Northwest Missouri State played tight with Central Oklahoma for the first 10 minutes Thursday night before the Bronchos stormed ahead to earn an 82-55 victory.
The Bearcats (4-17, 2-10 MIAA) were locked in a 19-19 tie with UCO used a 9-0 run to pull ahead. By halftime, the deficit grew to 14 points.
Northwest turned the ball over a season-high 26 times and allowed Central Oklahoma to hit on 8-16 three-point attempts.
Emorie Knox led the Bearcats with 11 points off the bench. Jack Ratigan added 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Northwest is back on the road Saturday against Rogers State at 3:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 3pm.
