Northwest Missouri State ran its win streak to six with a 75-59 win over Mission in the final tune-up before beginning MIAA play.
The Bearcats (7-1) now set their sights on Missouri Western and Emporia State next week in the first conference games of the year.
Northwest held a three point lead at the end of the first quarter, but then opened up the game up by outscoring Mission 26-3 in the second. The Bearcats shot 63.2% (12-19) in the quarter, while the Lady Patriots were limited to just one field goal on 13 attempts.
Three Bearcats scored in double figures, led by Kelsey Fields with 13 and Emree Zars with 11 points.
Freshman Aaliyah Riley put up a career-high 12 points in her first game since early November.
Sadie Maas also grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds.
Northwest hosts Missouri Western Tuesday at 5:30pm. Pregame will begin at 5pm on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9.
